A Leader Dedicated to Building Stronger Communities
With over 28 years of experience in development, entitlements, finance, and policy, Sean Carpenter’s career in real estate began as an Acquisitions Officer LIHTC syndicator, followed by serving at MassHousing, where he was responsible for a portfolio of federally subsidized properties. He also worked with a few national development firms building their platforms and pipelines into successful portfolios in preservation and new construction. At Shamrock, he serves developers with comprehensive permitting, applications, and financing of affordable housing communities nationally, with experience in over 20 states.
Sean Carpenter has a BA in Political Science from UMass Dartmouth, a Certificate of Real Estate Finance from Boston University and a MBA from UMass Boston.
Sean Carpenter also serves on the Property Development Committee for the Diocese of Massachusetts, as Treasurer of the Cathedral of St. Paul in Boston, Novus, Inc., and the Grand Summit HOA at Sunday River. He also serves on a number of other Community Boards and Advisory councils
